Oceanfront views from the balcony are stunning and the location is perfect for accessing the boardwalk. The pool is very small and felt overcrowded at times. Friendly staff and clean rooms made the stay enjoyable.

Location was excellent. A short walk to restaurants and attractions made exploring effortless. Staff were friendly and responsive. The view from the balcony was beautiful, and the spacious bathroom was a plus. The café's limited service was disappointing, forcing us to leave the property for meals. Housekeeping left something to be desired with missed maintenance. The outdated room contained a wobbly fridge, and parking was a hassle. While the free bikes were a fun touch, the overall upkeep of the property needs attention. It’s a shame as I've enjoyed this place in the past. Would reconsider returning if improvements are made.

The beachfront access was perfect for lazy mornings by the ocean. I loved the stunning view from my oceanfront room on the 7th floor! The staff were incredibly friendly and made my stay feel special.

Room was clean. The staff tried to accommodate us despite some issues with the room and the elevator. Great view from the balcony overlooking the pier.
The beds were too high, making it difficult to get in and out. The cleanliness of the hotel was below par, with dirty windows and elevator.

On the bright side, the location was top-notch, right in the heart of Virginia Beach with easy access to all the fun activities. Our room had a balcony with a fantastic oceanfront view, which was simply delightful. The room itself was comfortable, a good size, and most importantly, clean. The air conditioner worked like a charm, keeping us nice and cool during the hot days. there were some areas that could use improvement. The hallways and elevator were like saunas, extremely hot and uncomfortable to navigate. It would be a great enhancement for the hotel to invest in stronger tint on the hallway windows to block out some of that intense sun and to install AC in these areas. The pool, while offering a nice ocean view, was on the smaller side and lacked amenities like umbrellas, tables, and a pool bathroom for rinsing off or changing. the lack of a restaurant or breakfast service was a downside, especially with the high prices of the vending machines on-site. some cleanliness issues were observed, with sand being dragged into the room and not swept daily. It was a bit of a hassle to get rid of all the sand on our belongings. The housekeeping service also had its ups and downs, with inconsistent cleaning quality observed from day to day. despite these drawbacks, the excellent location, clean room, and efficient air conditioning made our stay at The Breakers worthwhile.

Location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach and great restaurants. The shower pressure was lovely, and the room had essential amenities like a fridge and a microwave. it felt dated and in need of some serious TLC. The carpets were stained, and the musty smell lingered throughout. A/C didn’t work well, and I encountered a frustrating issue with the balcony door. The chaotic parking and lack of breakfast options were disappointing.

During my stay, I was thrilled to discover how close we were to Virginia Beach's vibrant oceanfront, just a short 500 meters away, as well as the lively Atlantic Fun Park, which was only about a 300-meter stroll; we enjoyed the scenic boardwalk and the beautiful views all day, easily popping into delightful restaurants like Bubba's Beach Club or the charming I Scream Ice Cream, all of which were within a few minutes' walk, making it perfect for someone who loves exploring on foot. The hotel itself had comfortable rooms with modern touches like USB ports, but the overall decor felt a tad dated.

I was really disappointed with the check-in process. We arrived early, hoping to settle in, but they wouldn’t let us have our room until exactly 4 PM. It felt so frustrating after all the info we'd already submitted online!

Great location near shops and restaurants with a nice little park nearby The rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfy and housekeepers were friendly and did a nice job cleaning every day

The oceanview and jacuzzi room offered good value. The beds were comfy, although a bit squeaky. I appreciated the private balcony, but the wall obstructed part of the ocean view. The temperature control was adequate, but the hallways lacked A/C, making them uncomfortably warm. The cleanliness was below par; I noticed dirt, cobwebs, and fingerprints throughout. Staff interaction varied—most were unhelpful, with one being particularly rude. Parking was awkwardly designed, with steep ramps. Access to nearby breakfast spots and the beach was a plus, yet the hotel itself felt dated and in need of a thorough cleaning and updates.

The complimentary bike hire made exploring the town's fishing pier an absolute delight. The Adventure Park at the Virginia Aquarium provided exciting family fun with thrilling attractions.
My children wanted more kid-friendly activities on-site.

The location was awesome, just a skip from the beach and near the pier. The staff was super helpful and the bed was so comfy! Plus, the room had a sweet view from the balcony.
The hallway was stuffy and the one elevator was a drag. The door to the balcony didn't quite close, and the mattresses were less than cozy.

we recently stayed at breakers resort inn and it was great for what we needed. all rooms are ocean front! the hotel staff was very nice and helpful, and we really enjoyed the free bike rentals. the proximity to the ocean was amazing, and we loved having a balcony facing the ocean to watch the sun rise and set. it was very clean and we had no problems with keys. we enjoyed walking to eat out, shop, and explore the area.

An awesome oceanfront hotel with a cool outdoor pool. The free WiFi saved my life! The on-site restaurant was a lifesaver when I needed a quick bite.

We hit up the Virginia Beach Amusement Park for insane rides and the town's fishing pier for some chill vibes. Bonus: free bike hire for exploring! the Adventure Park by the Virginia Aquarium was a thrill. Non-stop fun, dude!
Wish there was a happening dance club nearby for nighttime partying.

I chose Breakers Resort Inn for its proximity to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and it did not disappoint. The on-site Boardwalk Cafe prepared delicious lunch boxes for the beach, making my stay even more convenient.
